Explore what people actually pay for homes across Germany. Share Anonymously, Free to Use, and Crowd-Sourced.
Make rent prices fairerโshare what you truly pay.
Is this really anonymous?
Yes โ we don't ask for your name, email, or login to submit a rent pin.
Where does the rent data come from?
Directly from real renters โ every pin comes from someone submitting their own rent through this map, live and visible to everyone immediately.
Are pins moderated? Can I edit or remove a pin I submitted?
Pins go live immediately and aren't pre-moderated. Anyone can flag a pin as suspicious using the ๐ฉ Report button on its detail popup. If you submitted a pin, you can edit or delete it yourself from the same browser/device you used to create it โ this uses a private token stored only in that browser, never an IP address, account, or login.
Is germany.rent affiliated with brokers, landlords, or property platforms?
No. germany.rent is an independent, community-built project. We do not charge brokerage fees, sell listings, or give anyone paid priority on the map.
Why can't I see transit lines at low zoom?
Zoom in closer โ the transit map style is easiest to read at street level.

This is an independent, community-built project making Germany's rental market easier to understand.
Renters can anonymously share what they actually pay, so others can get a clearer view of local rents before moving, negotiating, or signing a lease.
The map is free to use, has no brokers or advertising, and does not require an account. The community submits rent data. Contributors can edit or remove their own pin from the same browser, and anyone can flag suspicious entries.
We're starting in Berlin and growing city by city. The goal is simple: give renters better information and make rent prices more transparent.
