Yes. A name, account, and email are not required to submit a pin. If you choose to provide an email for your own notification, it is never displayed publicly or shared.
The location you confirm with the red pin is shown on the public map. Use the map to choose the level of precision you are comfortable sharing, and avoid including identifying details in the optional note.
From renters sharing what they pay. Pins go live immediately, so the map reflects community-reported data rather than listings or asking prices.
They are not pre-moderated. Anyone can flag a suspicious pin using 🚩 Report in the rent detail card. A pin is automatically hidden after five separate reports.
Yes, from the same browser and device used to add it. GermanyRent keeps a private edit key in that browser; there is no account or login to recover it elsewhere.
Current warm rent is the monthly amount you pay now, including applicable service charges. Choose when this amount began. If your rent changed after moving in, use the month of the most recent change.
No. GermanyRent is an independent community project. It does not sell listings, charge brokerage fees, or give paid placement to anyone.
